Pastor Austin and his wife Ja’lissa Humphreys are the dynamic leadership duo at Gethsemane SDA Church. Austin is a gifted communicator with a heart for evangelism, and Ja’lissa is a talented educator and worship leader. The two met in college and have been married for 9 years. Together, they have a child, Arden. Austin and Ja’lissa are committed to building strong, Christ-centered communities where people can grow in their relationship with God and with one another. They believe that the local church is the hope of the world and are passionate about reaching their community with the love and truth of Jesus Christ.

I have been a member of the seventh Day Adventist church since the age of 14 and have served on Sabbath School and AY Council multiple terms. As well as head Deacon at Gethsemane and East Wake Fellowship. I remain your humble servant.
